PAYMENT OPTIONS
CHANGING OR ADDING TO ORDERS
To ensure we run an efficient mail order service with the best possible prices, we do nit alter your order once you have placed it. This includes adding items to your order, cancelling, changing the payment method etc. Before proceeding to checkout please ensure you have everything in your cart you desire. If you are using a gift card, reward, discount or promo code, add it in the box on the payment page labelled "gift card or discount code" and select "apply". Please ensure you read the product page of each product you purchase to ensure it is the product you require, and it's specifications fit your needs (ie organic, wildcraft etc). A fee is charged should a cancellation need to occur after an order is paid but not shipped.
DELIVERY TIMES
We pack and post orders Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
Choosing express posts does not speed this up, it only means that we ship via the Australia Post express post system.
We dispatch orders Tuesday to Thursday excluding Public Holidays applicable to our location. Generally within 24 hours of payment. Please allow enough time (keeping in mind public holidays and weekends slow delivery) for your parcel to arrive at your address (from North Queensland, Australia). To ensure your parcel is not held up, please choose the appropriate freight option... Also, note that we make virtually every product on our catalogue, by hand, which can slow things down if we have sold out of a product you have ordered. We endeavor to stay ahead on production.

EXTRA DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS
If you need your parcel left on your front step, or have something else the courier needs to know, please put your extra delivery instructions in your shipping address as you checkout. Australia Post & Aramex may leave your parcel when it is safe to do so, if you do not wish this to happen, it's also a good idea to note this in the address.
TRACKING MY DELIVERY
Once your parcel has been dispatched to the courier, we will send you an email letting you know this has happened. Where ever possible we use trackable delivery methods to get your order to you as quickly and safely as possible. Please be sure to contact us should you not receive tracking details within a few days of placing your order. And be sure to monitor your tracking. Australia Post is constantly changing it's systems and does not generally leave failed delivery cards in your letterbox.
USING "MYPOST SAFE DROP"
If you choose to have your parcel delivered using Safe Drop or you provide an Authority to Leave, Plant Essentials is not liable for parcels that may be stolen or damaged after delivery
CUSTOMS & QUARANTINE
Please be aware that Plant Essentials is not responsible for seizure, refusal, returns, duty payable or re-shipment. It is your responsibility to check your states import laws & fees.
RETURNED PARCELS
Should your parcel be "returned to sender", we will contact you to confirm your address and correct any issues. Australia Post charges us a return fee of around $14. This fee is payable by you. An additional shipping fee will also apply. We don't make a cent from this, it is just to cover the costs that we are charged by Australia Post. It is a good idea to watch your tracking details in case Australia Post takes your parcel to your local post office rather than delivering. To ensure Australia Post delivers your parcel to your door, be sure to add a note to the courier in your address (ie "Leave in safe place" "leave at front door" etc).
Please subscribe to be in the know about what is going on at Plant Essentials. We send 1-2 emails per month. We do not post on social media anymore, so our newsletter, our community forum and this website are the only places to keep in touch. If you are currently a customer and haven't received an email recently, you are not subscribed.
