Our Lugol’s Solution is 10% Potassium Iodide and 5% and it contains approximately 6 mg of Iodine per drop and it is a crystal and not a seaweed product.  

What is Lugol's solution?

This is the correct combination of Iodine and Potassium Iodide to be called Lugol's Solution. It was first developed by French physician Dr. Jean Lugol in the 1820s, hence the name

 
Ingredients:
10% Potassium Iodide and 5% Iodine in an aqueous solution (distilled water)

 

Use:
A variety of gardening applications, including improving soil condition for the growing of tomatoes and other such plants.
